As there are 5 different individuals in the band with different struggles, pains and hopes, Joan Red is used to embody each individuals emotions, into a single entity. It's Memphis music for the masses, it's energy for the energetic, and passion for the passionate, it's Joan Red. Joan Red is not ages old; however it is ages in the making. With genres colliding, Anthony Basurto continues composing power chorus' and vocals to re-align the barrier of contemporary song writing. The fuel given by many years and hundreds of performances ignites an incredible flame inside Anthony, which burns with intensity during every performance. Anthony Basurto's live performance is what rock is all about. There are many legends of rock, but very uniquely, Anthony's song writing skills consists of constant and consecutive hooks.
