  1. Not Tonight Josephine is an alternative modern rock band from Tampa, FL formed in December of 2008. The band is comprised of vocalist David Easlick; guitarists Jake Moore and Adam Aungst; bassist Evan Foley; and drummer Randy Ayers.

Since the release of their debut EP, This Orphan Heart, and being named “Tampa, FL’s Most Buzz-worthy Rock Band” by Creative Loafing in the fall of 2009, Not Tonight Josephine have quickly been raising their status in rock’s up-and-coming scene. 2010 saw the band selected for a main stage performance at the Florida Music Festival in April, shooting a series of webisodes for Busch Gardens’ Howl-O-Scream festival in September, and nailing down a much-coveted slot on 97X’s annual Next Big Thing concert in December. The band has performed with acts such as Anberlin, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Sick Puppies, Framing Hanley, A Day to Remember, and American Bang and worked with producer Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley) in the studio for both their EP and their forthcoming full-length album. The new record, which builds upon the EP’s pop-informed modern rock with more mature songwriting and a slightly darker bent, was recorded over the summer of 2010 and is tentatively scheduled to see a Spring 2011 release date.

With their new single “Carousel” and it’s “Dexter”-inspired video now leaving fans bloodthirsty for more music, Not Tonight Josephine will certainly be climbing the rock ladder ever higher in 2011.
